Paper Presentation On Artificial Neural Network (ANN)

A method is proposed for online monitoring and evaluation of margins of voltage stability using artificial neural networks and controllers made with a reduced input data sets of the power system. In this method, the first model of the system is reduced through self - organizing artificial neural networks and an algorithm of Aesop. Then the supervised learning of paper multilayer artificial neural network is based on this model. Finally, relying on the network formed and the reduced set of system variables, the control is done in conjunction with assessment of margins of voltage stability. This method has been tested compared to a method of monitoring and evaluation of voltage stability using a complete input data sets. The experiments were performed on a real power system with 92 buses.
