Abstract: This paper presents one of the breakthroughs in the latest tangle HD disc technology, Blu-Ray "which is a wave to restore the existing DVD technology. Blu-ray Disc (BD) format is next-generation optical disc that is currently standardized by a large consortium of leading CE, PC, creating companies and major movie studios. Blue-ray Disc allows seamless integration of Internet content with the contents of the disk, and then synchronize the presentation of updated content from the Internet with the disc. With this combination of features, the highest quality HD video, improving interactivity and Internet connectivity BD gives consumers a compelling experience.We give an overview of the features that will be supported by BD application format such as hours of work, recording format, protection against errors, modes, files that are supported by Blu-ray and the last their technological applications.We also offer technical solutions used to perform these functions.
