Many facilities such as health centers for patients, computer systems, telecommunications links critical LAN servers, offices, etc. rely on uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to maintain a constant supply of electricity in case of outages. In addition to requiring a constant supply, many critical loads sensitive nonlinear transient finish line and harmonic distortion of input voltage. Conventional UPS systems operate to protect against such disturbances using complex filtering mechanisms, often employing large passive components. Among the various UPS Systems Online UPS provides maximum protection to the loads of all power problems. Due to several stages of power conversion, online UPS was the type most complex and expensive systems. Today, affordable and powerful Digital Signal Processors (DSP) provides a better and more convenient for the design of on-line UPS, which makes software to manage them by adding some services such as remote configuration and network monitoring and management of waste.This article presents the basic design and the possibility of using digital signal processing in real time (DSP) control of UPS systems.
